Bowling Green Set for First Exhibition in a Decade against Simon Fraser on Sunday Afternoon

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Bowling Green Falcons are slated for their second non-conference home exhibition game against the Simon Fraser Red Leafs on Oct.13. The game will be played at Slater Family Ice Arena in Bowling Green, Ohio. The opening faceoff is scheduled for 5:07 pm. This marks the first time the two teams have faced each other in a decade after a 7-2 win by the Falcons in 2014.

BGSU leads the series all time with a record of 1-0, with a 1-0 record at home. The only time in program history the two teams met, the Falcons came away with a 7-2 win in a season opening exhibition. In the last meeting, the Falcons used a 4-0 run in the third period to pull away from the Red Leafs.
