Bowling Green Set To Skate Against St.Thomas

MENDOTA HEIGHTS, Minn.- The Bowling Green Falcons (12-16-0, 10-8-0 CCHA) travel to Mendota Heights, Minnesota to face St.Thomas (13-14-1, 11-7-0 CCHA) this weekend. The series begins on Friday, February 16 and is set for 8:07 p.m. ET/7:07 p.m. CT in Mendota Heights. The action will continue on Saturday, February 17 puck drop set for 7:07 p.m. ET/6:07 p.m. CT in Saint Thomas Ice Arena. Â This will be the second meeting of the two this season, the first being Friday, Nov. 10 and Saturday, Nov 11 in Slater Family Ice Arena where the Tommies swept the weekend. Bowling Green is currently on a four-game win streak, sweeping Lake Superior State the past weekend (Feb. 9-10) and a week prior picked up six points against Ferris State (Feb. 2-3). Â While the Tommies were swept by Augustana this past weekend (Feb. 9-10) in South Dakota.

The Tommies have swept three times on the season, all being against CCHA opponents. The first being against Northern Michigan then Bowling Green in November and recently against Michigan Tech, in January. Both Falcons and Tommies are looking for their fourth sweep on the season.
Mack Byers leads the Tommies in goals with 12 on the season. Lucas Wahlin records 24 points on the season and tied with four other Tommies in assist, with 14. Jake Sibell and Aaron Trotter split time in the net for the Tommies. Sibell records a .932 save percentage and 1.88 goals against average through 12 games. While Trotter records a .902 save percentage and 3.04 goals against average through 15 games.
