Bowling Green Tennis Falls To Buffalo Friday Afternoon

PERRYSBURG, Ohio- The Bowling Green Falcons (6-6, 0-1 MAC) fell to the University of Buffalo Bulls (14-4, 1-0 MAC) by a score of 3-4, Friday afternoon (Mar. 15).
The Bulls started the scoring early, securing the doubles point on courts three (6-3) and two (6-2). During singles play, the Falcons and Bulls battled down to the last match, ultimately being decided by No. 1 Jagmeet Kaur taking the match into three sets over Lucy Furness.Â
No. 2 Hannah Neuman fell in two sets (3-6, 0-6) and so did No. 5 Isabella Baker (3-6, 4-6). Ioanna Tsadari took the first singles win for the Falcons at the No. 3 spot in two sets (6-3, 7-5). Leticia Fonseca follow her winning at the No. 6 flight (6-3, 6-2). No. 4 Tia Clemens tied the competition up at three with a win over Ambre Amat (6-3, 7-6 (2). The afternoon was decided on court one, where Lucy Furness fell to Jagmeet Kaur in three sets.Â
