Falcons Conclude Spring Break Matches With Win Over Aggies

Cocoa Beach, Fla.- The Bowling Green Falcons (6-5, 0-0 MAC) wrapped up their Florida matches with a 4-3 win over the North Carolina A&T State University Aggies on Wednesday afternoon.Â
Hannah Neuman and Lucy Furness took the No. 1 doubles flight 6-3 which tallied as their tenth doubles win of the season. Eloise Saraty and Ioanna Tsadari dropped at No. 2, deciding on a tiebreaker 7-6 (2). Tia Clemens and Brynn Chaffe's default win clinched the doubles point for the Falcons going into singles play.Â
The falcons dropped both No. 1 and No. 2 spots while No. 3 and No. 4 saw wins on the afternoon. Furness dropped at one in two sets (6-4, 6-0) while Neuman dropped the first set and secured the second. But Neuman fell at the third set by two points (6-4, 3-6, 6-4).Â
On the other side of the column, Clemens picked her a win at the number three flight in three sets. Clemens went 6-0 in the first set and dropped the second with a tiebreaker, she secured a point for the Falcons in the third with a commanding 6-2 win.Â
Chaffee dropped at the fourth flight in three sets, picking up the first set and dropping the next two. Tsadari and Sararty both claimed wins for the Falcons through default.Â

The Falcons will return to home on Friday, March 15 where they will open MAC play against University of Buffalo. The match will be held at Perrysburg Tennis Center with the first serve at 1:00 p.m.Â
