Six BGSU Women’s Golfers Named to WCGA All American Scholar Team

Coral Springs, Fla.- The Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) announced the All-American Scholar Team on July 1, 2024, for the 2023-24 season. Bowling Green had six golfers selected to the team.

The Falcons list of honorees includes: Kayla Davis, Sammie Dolce, Ava O' Sullivan, Makenna Jones, Olivia Steen, Mallory Swartz. For Davis, Dolce, O'Sullivan, Steen and Swartz, this marks the first time in their career receiving this recognition while Jones is receiving the honor for the second time in her career.

There were 1,497 collegiate golfers from 412 programs that were selected. In order to be selected to the team, a student-athlete must have a cumulative grade point average of a 3.5 of higher, have played in over 50% of the competitive rounds in the season and still be an amateur and on the team's roster at the conclusion of the season.
