FROM THE CLUBHOUSE
"I thought we played really well overall. The first two rounds were especially strong, and we showed some excellent golf. Today was more challenging, but that's part of competing at this level. Last year, we went into the final rounds in third place; this year, we came in within striking distance, which brought a different set of emotions. That may have contributed to a slower start, but the team stayed composed and battled all day. In the end, I told them to appreciate moments like this—being in contention, competing in the final pairing—because that's what it's all about. To finish third, especially coming in as the fourth-ranked team, is something we're very proud of. It was our goal entering this championship, and the team earned it." - BGSU Women's Golf Head Erin Fahey
