Kartush earns spot at Epson Tour's Great Lakes Championship
BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - Bowling Green State University's own Addison Kartusch has earned a spot in her first professional championship, competing in the Epson Tour's Great Lakes Championship in Harbor Springs, Michigan, from June 19 - 21.
The Epson Tour, often referred to as the "Road to the LPGA," serves as a competition where future professional golfers compete for a chance to earn a spot in the LPGA Tour. The Epson Tour is the Official Qualified Tour for the LPGA Tour.Â
Addison Kartusch earned her spot after winning the National Golf Invitational, where she shot a tournament record 209 (-7). Kartusch helped propel the Falcons to a historic season for the program after winning two tournaments individually. Kartusch became the first Falcon in program history to win a postseason tournament.Â
Kartusch continues her year of excellence on Friday (June19th) at The Highlands golf course in Harbor Springs, Michigan, a par 72 course.Â
