Aquinas will head into the weekend against the Falcons with a 2-6 record, but will first play Madonna on Saturday (Dec. 6) at home in Grand Rapids, Mich. In addition to the 2-6 standing, Aquinas holds an 0-4 record in the WHAC. The wins for the Saints have come against Wright State Lake (79-58) and Saint Xavier (97-93), but they've won five in a row since then. On Wednesday (Dec. 3) they nearly snapped the streak with a 77-75 final against Rochester Christian. Statistically, Aquinas is led by redshirt sophomore forward Caden Pokorzynski. Pokorzynski is currently averaging a double-double on the season with 17.1 points and 10.5 rebounds per game. Through eight games, Pokorzynski has tallied six double-doubles, including a 29-point, 13-rebound performance in the win over Saint Xavier. The Falcons won last year's meeting, 87-62, including a triple-double from Javontae Campbell with 11 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists in addition to five steals.
Strong Start To The Season
The Falcons are off to a 6-2 record this season, the best start to a season for BGSU since starting the 2020-21 season with a 9-2 record. The winning streak comes with promising prospects ahead according to past trends. During the Coach Simon Era, the Falcons are 8-2 (.800) in the month of December. 20-Point Players
Against Kansas State, Sam Towns posted a career-high 27 points, his first 20-point game of his collegiate career. With the outing, Towns became the fourth different Falcon to post a 20-point outing this season. Javontae Campbell has done so three times with 24 against Bethany College, 23 against Le Moyne and 21 against Davidson. Josiah Shackelford added 23 against Davidson while Mayar Wol scored 21 against VMI. In addition to the 20-point scorers, BGSU has had 10 different players tally double-digit points this year.

However, in wins this year the Orange and Brown are averaging 9.7 triples per game. Their season-high came against Kansas State, sinking 12 against the Wildcats.
Campbell Still On Track

It marked the first time as a Falcon Campbell was held without a steal in consecutive games and just the second and third times overall. Despite that, Campbell is still on track for 108 steals this year, which would shatter his own single-season program record of 90 from the 2024-25 season.
