Magnificent Seven to Represent BGSU at CSCAA National Invitational Championship
March 12, 2025 | Women's Swimming & Diving
BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – Seven BGSU swimmers will officially put a bow on the 2024-25 campaign at the CSCAA National Invitational Championship (NIC) in Ocala, Florida.
The three-day meet will take place from Thursday, March 13 to Saturday, March 15 at the Florida Aquatics Swimming & Training (FAST) facility – one of the premier swimming facilities in the southeastern United States.
Samia Becdach, Grace Bodrock, Emily McNicol, Riley McNichols, Grace Perlberg, Karina Solera and Ava Vial each hit qualifying marks for the meet at various points throughout the season. The seven will represent the Falcons in eight individual events and three relays.
The NIC debuted in 2014 with around 110 swimmers from six teams. Since then, it has grown into the largest collegiate postseason championship, now welcoming an average of 700 swimmers and divers from across all Division I conferences. More than 60 institutions participate each year, providing teams with valuable postseason championship experience.
BGSU has had representation at the NIC every year since 2022. Each day, there will be morning prelims followed by finals in the evening.
