Falcons Head to Sioux Falls for a Weekend Clash with No. 18 Augustana

This weekend marks the only regular-season series between the Vikings and Falcons during the 2025-26 campaign. Augustana sits one spot ahead of BGSU in the CCHA standings (third) by just two points, 42-40. Michigan Tech is in second place with 45 points, while St. Thomas is in first place with 47 points.

• Augustana is coming off back-to-back losses at then-No. 20 Michigan Tech. The Vikings lost the opener in overtime, salving one CCHA point for the weekend.
• Leonid Bulgakov leads Augustana with 14 goals. Owen Baumgartner leads the Vikings with 15 assists, while Brett Meerman has a team-high 25 points.
• Josh Kotai leads the CCHA with a 93.3 percent save percentage and is posting a 2.09 goals against average.

• The Falcons trail the all-time series 0-3-1, which began during the 2023-24 season when Augustana joined the CCHA.
• Breck McKinley is tied for 12th nationally in defensemen scoring with 22 points.
• He is also tied for second in the nation in assists by a defenseman with 20.
