BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – Bowling Green (14-6-6, 11-4-3 CCHA) returns to CCHA play as the St. Thomas Tommies (17-8-3, 14-4-2 CCHA) come to Slater Family Ice Arena. St. Thomas is ranked No. 15 in the nation by USCHO and No. 13 in the new NPI (NCAA Percentage Index). BGSU is receiving votes in the USCHO poll and is ranked No. 23 in the NPI. Puck drop on Friday is set for 7:07 p.m., while Saturday's contest begins at 6:07 p.m.

The teams last met in St. Paul on Nov. 21-22. The series was split, with BGSU taking the Friday contest, 3-2, before dropping Saturday's game, 6-2.

St. Thomas enters the weekend atop the CCHA standings with 45 points. BGSU sits just outside the top four in fifth place with 36 points. The Falcons are the only CCHA team that has not yet played 20 conference games. BGSU trails fourth-place Minnesota State (37) by one point, third-place Michigan Tech (40) by four points, and second-place Augustana (41) by five points.

• Friday's game is the Teddy Bear Toss. Teddy Bears will be thrown on to the ice after BGSU's first goal, or the second intermission, whichever comes first. Friday is also BGSU Faculty/Staff Appreciation Game. Access tickets by clicking here.
• Saturday's game is Winter Olympics Night. There is also a free skate following the game. Skate rental is $2.

• St. Thomas is coming off a home split with Michigan Tech. The Tommies won on Fri., Jan. 30, 4-2. Michigan Tech snapped St. Thomas' 11-game winning streak with a 4-3 triumph on Sat., Jan. 31.
• Lucas Wahlin leads St. Thomas and the CCHA with 18 goals. Chase Cheslock has a team-high 21 assists, while Alex Gaffney leads the Tommies with 33 points.
• Nicholas Kempf is saving 89.1 percent of shots between the pipes and posting a 3.66 goals against average.
• Aaron Trotter has a team-best 2.26 goals against average and is saving 91.6 percent of shots between the pipes.

• The Falcons lead the all-time series 9-7-3, which began during the 2021-22 season when St. Thomas joined the CCHA.
