Avery Thompson Becomes The Newest Falcon For Women's Golf

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio -Â The Bowling Green State University (BGSU) Women's Golf team adds Avery Thompson to the 2026-2027 roster. Thompson becomes the latest addition for head coach Erin Fahey and the Falcons.
Thompson is entering her junior year and is transferring from Findlay University to BGSU. Thompson has spent the last couple of seasons helping Findlay become the No.3 ranked school in the nation for Division II Women's Golf, and the team won the NCAA East Regional Championship.Â

The Falcon's women's golf program is coming off a historic season in 2025-2026 and has added Avery Thompson as reinforcement to help continue a dominant stretch of collegiate golf.
