SETTING THE SCENE / FOLLOW THE FALCONS
• The Bowling Green State University women's soccer team opens the 2026 season on Sunday afternoon (Aug. 16), taking on Robert Morris University. Head coach Chris Fox and the Falcons will meet the Colonials in a 1:00 p.m. start at Cochrane Stadium, and – as is the case for all home matches – admission is free.
• Fox and his staff – associate head coach Steven Samuel, assistant coach Hope Stacker and graduate assistant coach Anna Young – have 17 returning student-athletes, including nine starters, from the 2025 team. Last year's club went 10-3-9 overall and 4-1-7 in Mid-American Conference play.
• That 2025 squad finished sixth in the then 13-team league, but advanced all the way to the championship match of the MAC Tournament.
• BGSU's .659 winning percentage was the third-highest in program history.

• Sunday's Robert Morris match will be streamed on YouTube, and produced by WBGU-TV.
