Addison Kartusch Named MAC Golfer of the Week

CLEVELAND, Ohio (BGSU Strategic Communications) -- Bowling Green State University women's golf standout Addison Kartusch has been named Mid-American Conference Golfer of the Week. The announcement was made by the conference office on Friday afternoon (Sept. 11).
Kartusch, a junior from Winnipeg, Manitoba, earns the honor for the third time in her BGSU career.
Kartusch picked up the MAC honor after capturing an individual championship at the A-Ga-Ming Invitational on Monday (Sept. 7). She won that tournament for the second consecutive season while leading BGSU to a second-place team finish. Kartusch paced the field with a -5 score, including an eight-birdie round to finish the weekend.
The win marked the third of Kartusch's BGSU career. In addition to her two A-Ga-Ming Invitational wins, Kartusch also won the National Golf Invitational to conclude last season.
Kartusch and the Falcons continue action next weekend (Sept. 20-21), heading to Lansing, Mich., for Michigan State's Mary Fossum Invitational.
