Addison Kartusch Named MAC Women's Golfer of the Week

CLEVELAND, Ohio – Addison Kartusch was named the Mid-American Conference Women's Golfer of the Week on Friday afternoon, the third such honor of her career. The recognition follows her runner-up finish at the Mary Fossum Invitational in Lansing, where she helped the Falcons tie for fourth as a team.
The junior opened with rounds of 72 and 74 (+2) before weather shortened the tournament to 36 holes. She carded 8 birdies over that span to secure a runner-up finish and her third top-five finish this fall.
Kartusch and the Falcons look to carry that momentum into the Diane Thomason Invitational, hosted by the University of Iowa in Davenport, Iowa. Play begins at 9:30 a.m. EST on Sept. 28 and concludes Sept. 29.
