Luke Bockbrader enters his first year as an assistant athletic trainer at BGSU in 2023-24, after spending the previous three years as an intern on the staff. He is currently the primary athletic trainer for the Falcon women's soccer program, while also overseeing the training operations for men's soccer.
Bockbrader has seen the women's soccer Falcons win Mid-American Conference championships and make NCAA Tournament appearances in two of his first three seasons with the program.
A native of Perrysburg, Bockbrader earned his undergraduate degree in the spring of 2020 from The Ohio State University. While a student at OSU, he had clinical experience with the track & field, men’s basketball, and football programs, as well as Dublin Jerome High School. Bockbrader also completed an internship with the Miami Dolphins in the summer of 2019.
Bockbrader is a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association, Great Lakes Athletic Trainers Association, and Ohio Athletic Trainers’ Society.
