The Falcons completed a sweep of their two exhibition games defeating the Premier All-Stars by a 103-83 count. BG will now open the regular season on Nov. 19 against Jackson State in the first round of a tournament hosted by Hawaii.
The Falcons broke the game open from the start starting with an 8-0 run and eventually building an early 26-8 lead at the 9:49 mark of the first half. Their advantage was at least 14 points the rest of the game with most of the contest played with the Falcons leading by 20 or more points.
Bg led by as many as 21 points on two occasions in the first half building a 51-32 halftime edge shooting 64.5% from the field while Premier was shooting only 24.1% from the field.
BG led by as many as 27 points in the second half at 97-70 with 4:31 to play and coasted to the win.
There were 53 fouls whistled in the game as the contest was called with 23 seconds left by the officials because of rough play. The two teams combined to shoot 75 free throws in the game.
Keith McLeod led the Falcons with 16 points as five players scored in double figures and all 11 players who saw action scored in the contest. The Falcons shot 62.7% from the field for the game.
