Falcons Finish 12th AT Nittany Lion Fall Invitational

The Bowling Green State University women's golf team continued its 1999-2000 campaign with a 12th-place finish in the 1999 Nittany Lion Fall Invitational.

Leading the way for the Falcons was freshman Shelley Binzel, who tied for 39th individually with a 54-hole total of 237. Sophomore Shannon Smith tied for 50th with a 241, while freshman Stephanie Elsea tied for 64th with a 244.

BG will participate in the Wolverine Invitational this coming Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 9-10, at the University of Michigan Golf Course in Ann Arbor. Eighteen holes will be played on Saturday (tee times beginning at 9:00 a.m.), while the final 18 holes will be played on Sunday (shotgun start at 9:30 a.m.).
