Women Have Three Winners

The Bowling Green State University women's track and field team had three individual winners to highlight their performance in their own Bowling Green Open at Perry Field House.
Lisa Keegan won the weight throw with a toss of 56-9 1/4 to get things started for the Falcons. Lisa Mariea followed with a win in the 5,000 with a time of 18:13.5 and Mary Willems picked up the other first-place finish with a toss of 43-10 1/2 in the shot put.
Lori Williams led a host of Bowling Green athletes who placed second in their events. Williams was the runner-up in the weight throw with a toss of 52-4 and she was also second in the shot put with a best of 43-1 3/4.
Also placing second was Nikki Monroe with a time of 18:38.5 in the 5,000 and Andrea Cook in the pole vault where he best of 10-11 3/3 was good for the runner-up position and its also eclipsed her own school record of 10-3 which she set last season.
