Tracy Named Eastern League MVP For August

Harrisburg's Andy Tracy has been named the Eastern League Chase Most Valuable Player for August. Tracy hit .337 (29-86) with 24 runs scored, three doubles, 12 homers, 34 RBI, and a .791 slugging percentage.
The 25-year-old third baseman was the Eastern League Player of the Week for the period of August 23-29 when he hit .348 with three homers, 11 RBI, and a .739 slugging percentage. Tracy was a 16th round selection of the Montreal Expos in the June 1996 draft.
