The Falcons put forth a solid effort, but fell just short in a one-goal loss to the Big Ten's Buckeyes. OSU's Lindsay Eckles scored the lone goal of the match at the 25:01 mark. Eckles one-timed a cross from Kiley Enmark. BGSU goalie Erika Flanders got a piece of the shot, but the ball trickled under her and into the net.

The visitors outshot the Falcons, 28-6, including a 15-2 advantage in shots on goal. Flanders made 14 saves to set a school single-match record. The 14 stops increased her seasonal and career saves totals to 88, setting school records in both categories.
