The Falcons' struggles continued in a three-goal home loss. BGSU could muster just two shots on goal -- by Jill Conover and Amy McIlwain -- in the setback.
BGSU's best chance came just a few minutes into the match, when Conover came down the right side on a semi-breakaway. IU goalkeeper Ashley Davis made a save on the point-blank shot.
The Hoosiers, who outshot BG by a 19-6 margin, got goals by Tracy Grose, Emily Markwood and Karen Moore. IU held a 9-2 advantage in shots on goal.
Erika Flanders made six saves in the BG net. For the Hoosiers, Davis and Chrissy Heubi combined for two stops.
