The undefeated (5-0-2 in MAC play) Eagles scored the first three goals of the match en route to the victory. EMU led, 1-0, at the half, then scored at the 56:04 and 74:30 marks, respectively, to take the three-goal lead. Michelle Lisy's team-leading seventh goal of the year cut the margin to two goals at 77:55. Jill Conover and Leslie Buse assisted on the play.
The visitors scored an insurance marker with just 6:20 left, and the Falcons could get no closer than the final two-goal margin. Ashley Enser completed the scoring by converting a penalty kick with 1:48 remaining.
The Eagles outshot BGSU, 18-13, including a 9-6 edge in shots on goal. Erika Flanders went all the way in goal for the Brown and Orange, making five saves. EMU 'keeper Sarah Willis made four stops in picking up the win.
The match featured three yellow cards and one red card, with the Falcons picking up a single yellow.
