Despite holding advantages in both hitting percentage (.286 to .277) and blocking (14 to 8), the Falcons dropped a four-game (15-9, 13-15, 7-15, 7-15) contest at Western. The Broncos held a large edge in service aces, pounding out 13 to BG's one. Melissa Lewis had 18 kills and hit .375, while JoAnna Papageorgiou set a career-best in hitting percentage for the second-straight night. "Pop" hit .480 with 14 kills and three solo blocks. Kris Pesorda had 10 kills and 10 digs, while Lori Kemerer hit .421 and had six blocks. WMU's Zakiya Popa hit .593, while teammate Traci Morin hit .440 on the night.
