Men's Cross Country Places 15th At Notre Dame

NOTRE DAME, Ind. - The Bowling Green State University men's cross country team posted a 15th-place finish at the Notre Dame Cross Country Invitational Friday (Oct. 6) afternoon. The Falcons had a team score of 420 points in the 22-team race.
Individually, junior Tom Kutter led the Falcons for the fourth time in as many races this fall. Kutter was 46th in the 172-man race, with a time of 25:08. Freshman Paul Niedzwiecki was 80th overall in a time of 25:36.
Other BGSU competitors included Rob Glatz (25:51, 95th), Justin Perez (25:52, 97th), Austin Chapin (26:09, 113th), Dave Larson (26:10, 117th), Kreg Hatfield (26:11, 120th), Chad Kunkle (26:57, 154th) and Steve Blasko (27:51, 169th).
BGSU will return to action next Friday afternoon (Oct. 13). The Falcons of head coach Sterling Martin will head to Delaware, Ohio, for the All-Ohio Championship.
