LAS VEGAS, Nev. -
The BGSU women's tennis team suffered an 8-1 loss to nationally-ranked UNLV Friday (March 17) in Las Vegas.
The lone Falcon win came at the second doubles flight, courtesy of senior Deidee Bissinger and junior Meghan Rhodes. For Bissinger, the win was the 143rd total victory of her career. On the singles list, Bissinger's total of 74 career victories is good for fourth place.
Deidee Bissinger (6-2, 3-6, 6-1) and her sister, sophomore Devon Bissinger (4-6, 6-4, 7-6), lost in three sets at the fourth and fifth singles flights, respectively.
The Falcons, now 5-4 in dual play, will remain in Vegas for a neutral-site match vs. Boston College on Saturday (March 18).
