Softball Opens Season With Setback To Eastern Michigan

MIAMI, Fla. - The Bowling Green softball team opened the 2000 season Friday (March 3), falling to Eastern Michigan by a 6-3 score. The game was part of the Golden Panther Invitational, hosted by Florida International University, in Miami, Fla.
Senior Erin Zwinck was the hitting star for the Brown and Orange, with a pair of hits in four at-bats. Zwinck homered and doubled, and drove in all three BGSU runs.
Sophomore Jessie Milosek took the loss for the Falcons, who were outhit by a 7-5 margin.
