MIAMI, Fla. - The Bowling Green softball team dropped a 3-0 decision to Wichita State Saturday morning (March 4). The setback dropped the Falcons' record to 0-3 on the young season.
BGSU outhit the Shockers, 8-6, in the game, which was part of the Golden Panther Invitational on the campus of Florida International University in Miami, Fla.
Freshman pitcher McKenna Houle suffered the loss in her collegiate debut, as the Falcons could not score a run and left 10 runners on base in the contest.
The Falcons were led offensively by senior Erin Zwinck, who had two hits in three at-bats.
BGSU continues tourney play with a game against Robert Morris later Saturday.
