Women's Golf Prepares For Illini Spring Classic

The Bowling Green State University women's golf team, fresh off a second-place finish this past Sunday and Monday in the Bronco Invitational, will be participating in the 2000 Illini Spring Classic this Saturday and Sunday hosted by the University of Illinois.
The Falcons will be one of 14 schools playing in the 36-hole event at Stone Creek Golf Club in Urbana, Illinois. The par 72 course opened in the spring of 1999 with a yardage of 5,842.
Joining BG in the Classic are Bradley, DePauw, Eastern Illinois, Ferris State, Grand Valley State, Illinois, Indianapolis, Missouri-Kansas City, Northern Illinois, Southern Illinois, Southwest Missouri State, Truman State and Xavier.
Bowling Green's final tune-up before the Mid-American Conference Championship will be April 22-23 at the Lady Buckeye Spring Invitational hosted by The Ohio State University.
