Five former Bowling Green State University players are currently playing professional baseball.
They include Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Orel Hershiser, Angels left-handed pitching prospect Jeff Hundley, along with infielder prospects Andy Tracy (Montreal) and Drew Niles (Florida) and San Francisco catching prospect Bob Niemet.

Notes: Andy Tracy hit his first home run in AAA last night. Jeff Hundley, in his second appearance in the California League, went six innings on Tuesday, without allowing a hit or run, struck out eight and walked two in a 4-3 win at Bakersfield.
