BG Swimming Defeats Wayne State

Bowling Green, Ohio - In their first home meet of the season, the BG men's swim team defeated Wayne State 133-103. The men won seven of the eleven events swum, including a sweep of the relays.
Senior Adam Brown was the only male swimmer to take two events, winning the 50 free in a time of 22.88 and the 100 free with a time of 50.16. Classmate Paul Bizzarro won the 100 back with a time of 57.84.
Other event winners included junior Ray Bentel in the 100 breast, with a time of 1:01.07 and newcomer Robert McRae, who won the 100 fly with a time of 53.42.
The next meet for the Falcons is at Cooper Pool on November 3 versus Eastern Michigan and Toledo at 11:00 a.m.
