On the end of the game:
"We did a good job on our offense...Part of a great offense that didn't want to let go"
On Going for Two Points:
"Six minutes left in the fourth quarter, that was decided ahead of time. We actually talked about going for the two if we were in that situation...that's a given when you are on the road."
On Handling Northwestern's no huddle offense:
"You can't practice that...I talked to Iowa's coach late in the week...It's every 15 seconds you have a play...it's a fast tempo."
On Josh Harris:
"He's a good thrower...he is going to get better and better."
Personal feelings of the win:
"I've done this for 14 years...this is the best game I have ever been through...best I have ever been a part of."
On the final moments of the game:
"When they started the drive, I can't lie and say I didn't think they were going to run out the clock, but I knew our defense would come up big at some point. When teams start driving like that, all I can think about is getting a turnover. That turnover was crucial, and then we went out there and executed our two minutes. All of our hard work has paid off."
On the final Touchdown:
"They tried to blitz us like they had been doing all game, and tried to get there before we completed a pass. Robert Redd did a good job on the one-on-one coverage and beat his guy inside. Even though guys were on his back I decided to throw it to him. I threw it in there and I was knocked to the ground. When I got up I heard people cheering and I saw that they were the people wearing orange, not the people wearing purple."
On the strip at the end of the game:
"I was able to get my hand on the ball and I looked up and I saw it on the ground. The next thing I knew, Ryan Wingrove was on the ball. The rest is history."
On his feelings after the game:
"This is the greatest thing that has happened in my life and I will always be apart of history. Nothing else could be as good as what happened today. This was a great memory for our 14 seniors to always have."
