DETROIT, Mich. - "When you're on the road, you just hope to have a chance, in the last four minutes, to win the game. At the final media timeout (3:51 remaining), we were three points down with the ball, so we certainly had that opportunity."

They took her away a little bit in the second half, and we certainly contributed to that by not going to her as much. But, the bench stepped up big, they scored 32 of our 62 points in the game. We got great minutes from Kelly and (freshman) Sakima (Smith), the backup posts. Tene Lewis got her first minutes in a game situation and provided a spark, and that's what we needed. We needed her defensive intensity and athleticism."
