The Falcons 12 three-point baskets made surpassed their 2000-2001 season-best of nine set against Akron.
The Falcons won their ninth straight home opener dating back to the 1992-93 season.
BGSU now leads the series 30-21.
Junior Cory Ryan had a career-high six three-point field goals surpassing his previous best of five set last year against Evansville.
The Falcons are 3-0 this season when they shoot better than 50.0 from the floor.
Sophomore Jabari Mattox had a career-high seven points and junior Kris Gerken also established a new career-mark with four points.
The Falcons 30 assists also bettered their 2000-2001 season-best of 25 set against Wilmington.
