Marist Coach Dave Magarity
"We lost to a great team today, I have a tremendous amount of respect for this team. It's obvious when you watch game tapes of Ole Miss, Washington and of course Michigan, you see how good they are."
"This was just a great series for us and I still feel this way despite the difficult loss today."
"I thought their defense got really up into our people and denied our post players position. Their perimeter defense was outsanding."
"Thats what the game came down to, us not being able to score some easy baskets."
"(Keith) McLeod is uncanny how he scores. How many times did he score with the shot clock going off. He was a handful today and he is such a great scorer, and (Brandon) Pardon killed us with those 3's."
BGSU Coach Dan Dakich
"I thought this was a very tough, long week for us. I am proud of our guys for hanging on. We did not make plays to win the game we just hung on."
"I felt Marist was the best team we would have played (including Mississippi and Michigan). Here's why, they are the best (basketball) skilled team and the most unselfish. They are tough-tough guys and they are seniors."
"(Sean) Kennedy is the best guard in giving the ball to people that I've seen."
"Lenny was good, he rebounded and tried hard. Marist does not have a big strong guy but they had guys to guard and I felt we had to go into Lenny inside."
"I think our defense has improved. One thing about Marist more so than Michigan is that they handle the ball, they don't shoot quick and they make you guard them, and that is how it is with experienced players."
BGSU Center Len Matela
"This completed the week, Michigan was big and this finished off the week."
"We just ran our offense and they focused on the perimeter and Keith, which left me open."
"The seniors are trying to take this team as far as we can and it starts with not letting any one down, including the fans. They were great"
