Falcons Off To Best Start Under Dakich
The Falcons are off to their best start under Dan Dakich with a 7-1 record.
Six-Game Streak
The Falcons have a six game winning streak for the fourth time under Coach Dakich. They won six in a row last season and twice accomplished that feat two years ago when the Falcons won the 2000 MAC Championship.
Tough In Evansville
While the Purple Aces are just 2-5, they are 2-1 in Roberts Stadium with wins over Miami and Youngstown State.
Last Year's Shootout
The Falcons defeated the Purple Aces, 92-87, in the 2000-2001 season opener. Cory Ryan, Len Matela, and Keith McLeod each had 20 points, while Brandon Pardon had 15 points and 13 assists in the win.
Falcons are 16th in the RPI, 47th in Coaches Poll
BGSU is 16th in the latest RPI and received votes in the ESPN Coaches Poll to rated 47th in the nation.

Collegeinsider.com has the Falcons as the sixth highest rated mid-major program. BGSU trails Butler, Gonzaga, Ball State, Southern Illinois and Western Kentucky.

Coach Dan Dakich was recruited by current Evansville Coach Jim Crews to play at Indiana. Both are former Hoosier players and assistant coaches.

With Keith McLeod's three-pointer with 4.3 seconds left giving BGSU an 84-83 win over UNCW, the Falcons are 6-0 in games decided by four points or less. The Falcons also are 5-0 when Brandon Pardon makes two or more three-point field goals. BGSU is 51-25 since February of 1999.
