Two Falcon Icers Ranked Nationally

The NCAA has released its hockey statistics for the week ending February 18th, and two Falcons are rated with some of the best players in the nation. Senior Ryan Murphy is currently 17th in the country with .63 goals per game. Sophomore netminder Tyler Masters' save percentage of .916 is 13th among the nation's goaltenders. The NCAA doesn't rate goalies by number of saves made, but Masters' 922 stops are the most by anyone ranked in the top 20 in save percentage, 71 ahead of the next man.
Bowling Green's penalty kill is also amidst the elite in the NCAA. The Falcons' penalty kill percentage of .854 is presently 12th in the country.
