The NCAA has released its hockey statistics for the week ending February 25 and two Falcons can be found alongside the top performers in the country.
Senior winger Ryan Murphy is currently 15th in goals per game, with 20 goals in 32 games, for .63 average.
Sophomore goalie Tyler Masters' save percentage of .917 rates 14th among collegiate netminders. Masters' consistency has quietly moved him into the BG record books, as well. His 898 saves are eighth on the all time list for a single season, his goals against average of 2.62 currently stands at fourth, and his .917 save percentage is the best one year performance by a Falcon goaltender.
The Bowling Green defense keeps lofty company as well, with their .849 penalty kill percentage standing at 17th in the nation.
