Gymnastics To Host Michigan State Sunday

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - The Bowling Green State University gymnastics team (5-4) will face nationally-ranked Michigan State University (5-2) at 2 p.m. Sunday at BGSU's Eppler Center.
The Spartans are ranked 25th in the country with an average score of 193.531. They will visit Ohio State on Friday evening.
NATIONAL RANKINGS BGSU is 23rd in the floor exercise (48.750) and 21st in the vault (48.480).
Freshman Pia Sjovall is 17th in the country in the vault (9.825) and junior Marny Oestreng is 18th (9.820). Oestreng also ranks 15th on the uneven bars (9.925). National totals are based on average performance.
IN THE MAC The Falcons have the top score in the MAC (48.850) and the second highest all-around team score (195.000).
Oestreng is the top performer in the floor (9.975) and uneven bars (9.925) and is second in the vault (9.925) and third in the all-around (39.125).
Sophomore Ann Marie Kassouf is second on the bars (9.875) and Sjovall is third in the vault (9.875).
