NCAA Releases National Rankings For Hockey

The NCAA has released their national statistics for hockey for the week ending March 11th, and two Falcons continue to appear among the leaders.
Senior forward Ryan Murphy is tied for third in power-play goals with 11 and tied for 13th in goals per game with .64 (23 goals in 36 games played). Sophomore netminder Tyler Masters ranks 10th in the country with a save percentage of .920. Bowling Green's defense rates 16th in the nation, with an .853 penalty killing percentage.
The Falcons square off against Northern Michigan tonight in the CCHA Play-in game. Faceoff for is slated for 7:05 p.m., at Berry Events Center in Marquette, Michigan. Tonight's winner will face Michigan State Friday night at Detroit's Joe Louis Arena.
