BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - The Bowling Green State University softball team's doubleheader at the University of Akron has been postponed for a day. The Mid-American Conference twinbill, originally scheduled for Tuesday (April 17), is now set for Wednesday (April 18) afternoon in Akron.
First pitch is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. at UA's Buchtel Field.
The change was made due to inclement weather in the Akron area. As of Tuesday morning, it was snowing in Akron, and the forecast called for the snow to continue for much of the day.
The Falcons are 19-14 overall after a pair of 6-2 victories over Detroit Monday (April 16). BGSU will take a 7-3 MAC record into the UA games.
