Host Marshall University won every flight en route to a 7-0 victory over the Bowling Green State University women's tennis team Saturday (April 21) afternoon. The Mid-American Conference match marked the final regular-season action for the Falcons.
With the loss, the Falcons dropped to 8-13 overall and 4-5 in MAC action.
Senior Erika Wasilewski was the lone Falcon to extend her singles match beyond two sets, taking the first set at the third flight vs. Alice Sukner. Sukner rallied to capture the match.
The Falcons will prepare for a return to Huntington, as Marshall will host next week's MAC Championships, which will be held from Thursday to Sunday, April 26-29.
