Women's Golf Tied For Fourth

Portage, Michigan - The Bowling Green women's golf team finished day one of competition at the Bronco Invitational Sunday tied for fourth place overall with Grand Valley State and Loyola. The Falcons shot a total score of 343, at a meet hosted by Western Michigan University and held at The Moors Golf Club in Portage, Michigan.
Sophomore Shelley Binzel (Dublin, OH) and freshman Jenny Schnipke (Kalida, OH) led the way for the Falcons Sunday shooting scores of 83 to tie for eleventh overall. Sophomore Emily Hassen (Berkey, OH) competing as an individual this weekend fired an 81 to tie her for sixth place overall. The Falcon women continue play on Monday with the final round of competition.
