Volleyball To Play Two Saturday Matches

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - The Bowling Green State University volleyball team will play a pair of matches this weekend in Valparaiso, Ind. The Falcons will face Valparaiso University and Butler University in Saturday (Sept. 15) action.
BGSU was to have played at the Pioneer Classic in Denver, Colo., this weekend, but that tournament was cancelled because the visiting teams -- BGSU, Miami University and Siena College -- could not make travel arrangements. Valparaiso and Butler both saw their originally-scheduled tournaments cancelled as well.
The Falcons will face the host Crusaders in the first match of the day, beginning at 1:30 p.m. CT (2:30 p.m. BG time). Then, BGSU will play Butler in a 4:30 p.m. CT match, while Valpo will meet the Bulldogs in a 7:30 p.m. CT match. All contests will be played at the Athletics-Recreation Center.
