Falcon Men Finish 0-2 at Ball State

Muncie, Ind. - Bowling Green was 0-2 on Saturday at Ball State University, losing 164-72 to the host Cardinals and then falling to visiting Buffalo, 127-109.
Freshmen Robert McRae and Richard Wade, along with senior Josh Clugston, posted first-place finishes for the Falcons. McRae won the 200 butterfly in 1:58.10, Wade captured the 1-meter dive with a personal-best score of 232.80 and Clugston was first in the 3-meter dive with 245.60 points. Freshman Ian Chertieny was second behind Clugston with a score of 235.15.
Bowling Green's 800 freestyle relay team of Paul Bizzarro, Tom Mohlman, McRae and Dan Reese was second in 7:17.69, just behind Buffalo's time of 7:17.19.
The Falcons host their final home meet of the year this Saturday when Mid-American Conference foes Miami and Ohio visit Cooper Pool. The meet is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m.
