Falcons Rated 23rd In USA Today/ESPN Coaches Poll; 25th By AP

The Bowling Green State University football team is rated 23rd in this week's ESPN/USA Today Coaches Poll and 25th by the Associated Press. It marks the first time since 1985 that BGSU has been rated in one of the two major polls. BGSU was rated 20th in Associated Press poll in December, 1985 prior to the Falcons California Bowl appearance.

"It is extremely gratifying that the efforts our players and coaches have put forth is being recognized nationally," said BGSU Coach Urban Meyer. "I'm excited for our student body, alumni and fans and believe this adds to the outstanding tradition of the football program here at BGSU."
