BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - Some notes from Bowling Green's 38-20 win over Ball State Saturday (Oct. 26) ...

The Falcons now have a 10-game winning streak dating to last year ... the streak is the longest since BGSU won 11 consecutive games in 1991-92 ... BG's current streak is the fourth-longest in the history of the program ... the school record is an 18-game win streak from 1958-60.

BGSU's win streak is the second-longest active winning streak in the nation, behind only Miami (Fla.).

The Falcons' total of 38 points was a season low ... BGSU entered the game leading the nation in scoring, averaging 49.3 points per game.

BGSU scored 21 points in the second quarter ... the Falcons now have scored 20 or more points in a quarter six times this season.

Joe Alls had a team-high 109 yards rushing against the Cardinals ... for Alls, the game marked his seventh career 100-plus yard effort, and his third this season ... also, it was his second career 100-yard game against Ball State.

P.J. Pope ran for 81 yards, and had the first two-touchdown game of his career ... Pope, a true freshman, entered the game with two TDs on the year.

The fumble by Alls in the third quarter was the first by a Falcon running back this season (149 carries) ... B.J. Lane also fumbled later in the game.

Both Marcus Allen and Jason Morton had the first interceptions of their collegiate careers.

For the first time all year, Josh Harris did not score a touchdown, although he did throw for two scores ... Harris, who entered the game as the nation's leading scorer (15.3 ppg), had rushed for at least two TDs in eight consecutive games prior to the Ball State contest.

Shaun Suisham made a 25-yard field goal in the third quarter ... Suisham is now a perfect 9-for-9 on field-goal attempts this season ... he has converted 40-of-41 point-after-touchdown tries on the year, and now has a total of 67 points this season.

BGSU now has an overall record of 15-3 in the Urban Meyer Era, including a home record of 9-1 ... the Falcons are averaging 42.8 points in the 10 games at Perry Stadium during that time, and BG is averaging 51.0 points over the last six games ... this season, the Falcons have scored 250 points in five home games, an average of exactly 50 points per contest.

D'Monn Baker caught a touchdown pass for the second consecutive game ... he now has two TD grabs this year and three in his career.

The Falcons have started the season with a 7-0 record for the first time since the 1985 team won its first 11 games of the year.

BGSU had 451 yards of total offense, including 309 in the first half ... the Falcons entered the game ranked third in the nation with an average of 499.3 ypg.

The Falcons, who entered the game averaging 12.1 points off of opponent turnovers this year, scored 21 points off of BSU turnovers.

BGSU now begins a stretch of three consecutive road games, taking on Kent State (Nov. 2), Northern Illinois (Nov. 9) and South Florida (Nov. 16) before returning home for the final game at Perry Stadium this year, a Nov. 23 contest vs. Eastern Michigan.
