Falcons Finish 11th at Nittany Lion Invitational

State College, Pa. - The Bowling Green State University women's golf team finished 11th at this weekend's Penn State Nittany Lion Women's Invitational (Oct. 5-6). The Falcons finished with a three-round score of 976. Penn State won the two-day tournament with a score of 902.
BGSU senior Shelley Binzel was the top Falcon with a low score of 231 (T-11th). She shot a 79, 74, 78.
Other Falcon placers were Jenny Schnipke (T-40th, 241), Stephanie Elsea (T-67th, 252), Amanda Schroeder (T-67th, 252), Kari Evans (85th, 266) and Melissa Reeder (90th, 273).
The Falcons end their fall season this weekend at the Eastern Kentucky Invitational in Richmond, Ky. (Oct. 11-12).
