Haneline Named Verizon Academic All-District

Bowling Green, Ohio - Bowling Green State University senior linebacker Chris Haneline has been named to the Verizon Academic All-District IV University Division Football Team. The senior criminal justice major was one of three linebackers chosen to the 22-member squad. The team is selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).
A native of North Olmsted, Ohio, Haneline holds a 3.43 GPA and leads the team with 79 tackles, including eight for a loss. He captured the Falcons' President's Award in 2001, as the team's top student-athlete and has twice been named the MAC Scholar Athlete of the Week during his career.
District IV is comprised of Division I institution's in Alabama, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio and Tennessee.
