The Bowling Green State University football team, 8-0 overall and 5-0 in the MAC, is rated 16th in this week's USA Today/ESPN coaches poll. It marks the fourth straight week that BGSU has appeared in the national rankings and the #16 designation in the coaches poll is the Falcons highest ever in a major college football poll. The Falcons will face Northern Illinois at 2:35 p.m. (EST), Saturday, November 9 in a battle of MAC West unbeatens. The Huskies are 6-3 overall and 5-0 in the MAC.
BGSU has the second longest winning streak in the nation at 11 games.
